SEG Support for ECPs
SEG is committed to supporting the professional development of ECPs across the three main sectors of economic geology: industry, academia, and government. From networking opportunities and access to technical conferences, through to tailored skills workshops and world-wide field trips visiting world-class mineral deposits, SEG provides a vast range of events and programs that can help the advancement of your early career.
The SEG Council works closely with the ECP Committee in order to not only promote the involvement and participation of graduates and senior students within the Society's activities, but also deliver innovative ways for this support to be made available to these groups.
With greater connectivity across the world, SEG is also focusing on producing more online content that can be accessed remotely, such as electronic resources, open-access webinars, and virtual learning platforms. This means regardless of where in the world you are, SEG will be able to support you during the early phases of your career in economic geology.
