Focus and Areas of Research and/or Interest in Economic Geology
Post Doc at the University of California, Riverside investigating the trace element content of pyrite. This is applied to several applications: understanding pyrite oxidation rates, identifying ore deposit type, vectoring towards mineralization, identifying prospective source rock for orogenic Au deposits, understanding past ocean chemistry, and understanding metal availability during diagenesis.
