Description

The GAC-MAC-PEG 2024 conference will be held at Brandon University in Manitoba on May 19-22, 2024. You can expect an excellent scientific program with a variety of field trips and short courses. This meeting will include all the expected GAC and MAC programming and the 10th International Symposium on granitic pegmatites with field trips and special sessions. Volunteers

This event will require need several volunteers to help run the conference and, most importantly, assist in the presentation rooms: download and organize the presentations, start them, interact with remote attendees and presenters, and trouble-shoot minor technical issues (but not major ones: their will be a dedicated IT person on-site for that). One person is expected to volunteer for one day (morning and afternoon sessions).

This is a great opportunity for graduate students: in counterpart for their efforts, registration fees will be reimbursed after the conference. And get a cool T-shirt!
